How it works for landlords
- Book the job. Tell us the address, which doors and when the property is empty.
- Access arranged. We can collect keys from your letting agent or meet them on site.
- Locks changed. Old cylinders swapped and each lock tested.
- Keys handed over. New keys go to you, your agent or the incoming tenant, with an itemised invoice.
Why change locks between tenants?
You never know how many copies of a key a previous tenant made, or who they gave them to. Changing the cylinders is quick, costs far less than dealing with a break-in, and gives the new tenant peace of mind. Many landlord insurance policies also expect locks to be changed after a tenancy ends – check your policy wording.
